PITS x Preston Suds Laundry Takeover!

Finding time to do laundry isn’t the biggest problem for some community members...finding a way to fit it in your budget is. Laundry is another expense that many forget about and can also be very expensive for larger sized families or those already living on a budget. The members of Peace in the Streets and the Happy Saturdays Crew attempted to fill this void by hosting free laundry day at Preston Suds.

Members also received free soap and a 50% donation match courtesy of Preston Suds. Peace in the Streets also distributed free at-home Covid test, gun locks, amongst other valuable community resources.

The Free Book Bus was also on site to give free books to kids that were in attendance.

Peace in the Streets is looking to continue their community takeovers by joining forces with other C’ville businesses and laundromats to continue to help those in need.
